The Administrator On Call (AOC) has one of the most demanding and important positions at an OPO.  The AOC is responsible for the overall management and evaluation of donors and the donation process. He or she provides direct oversight of day-to-day clinical department operations related to the identification, evaluation, approach, authorization, clinical management, allocation, recovery, and overall coordination of donor related activities.  In addition to focusing on the daily activities to maximize organ donation, the AOC provides mentorship, training, and education of the OPO’s clinic services team.
